Toby Vest

Multi-instrumentalist and producer Toby Vest is perhaps best known for his work behind-the-scenes of some of Memphis, TN’s finest modern recordings. As a producer, Vest is prepared to push the envelope and dive off the deep end with his endless list of talented collaborators. As a musician, he has the ability to capture lightning in a bottle — crafting soaring melodies or building brooding, cinematic soundscapes with a seemingly effortless consistency. “False Regime” is hIs first album under his own name after over a decade of quietly releasing music under various monikers. Though it is “the first,” it arrives bearing all the trademarks of refined craftsman at the top of his game. And it will surely not be his last.
