Greg Fayzon
Multi-instrumentalist Greg Fayzon (aka Greg Faison) takes a break from listening to other musicians and bandmates tell him what to play (“Greg, I have a couple notes”) and finally strikes out on his own with his solo debut Moon Phases. The EP draws on elements developed over many years of musical experimentation with bands in both Memphis and New York, like Circuit Benders, Antique Curtains, Tiger High, Swimware, Drug Couple, The Echo Friendly, Big Aura, and the list goes on…. and on. Greg hyper-focuses all that history into 4 blistering tracks that mix catchy melodies composed on modular and analog synths with a bevy of heavy beats. The result is a perfect soundtrack for a day driving on the open road with the windows down or getting hyped for a wild night in the city.
