Dirk Kitterlin
Dirk Kitterlin has been writing, recording, and performing music in some capacity since the dawn of the 21st Century. Kitterlin has consistently sought inspirations and sounds that challenged the paradigm of idiomatic traditions. In this recent electronic production simple pastoral melodies are fused with melancholy moods that borrow as much Copland and Dvorak as they do from Vangelis and Tangerine Dream. A hauntingly complex landscape is painted with the sounds and textures that move majestically across an orchestration of analog and digital synthesizers, erupting and subsiding like cosmic radio waves plucked from the less traversed fabric of space time.
